Rapha's Souplesse Lightweight Jersey

When we first encountered Rapha, it was mainly men who found what they were looking for in the brand. However, in recent years, there has been a shift, and women are now receiving full attention.
Not just a mere adaptation.
You might think that only the shape is adjusted, but you can tell that the products for women have their own design and a different approach. The products are truly unique. The Souplesse Lightweight II features a race-cut and is light enough to charm those who seek cooling during hot climbs, quite literally in the heat of the battle.
The Jersey
When the jersey is unpacked – always beautifully packaged as is the Rapha way – you quickly discover the quality of the garment. When you order a jersey online, you don't always feel the texture or see all the details. With Rapha, it often exceeds expectations when you finally have the jersey in your hands. The lightness of the material and the specific design elements now come to the forefront.
The Details
What stands out, but is subtly present, are the perforations along the spine. Very successful, designed to provide extra cooling. Simultaneously, it's a beautiful design element subtly woven into the jersey. The sleeve pieces are finely crafted with different materials. A mesh structure that fits nicely without feeling too tight.
Fit
The fit is perfect, hugging the body beautifully. The collar sits slightly lower around the neck than standard jerseys to provide extra cooling. As a test, we climbed Mont Ventoux, and the jersey passed with flying colors. When conquering the slopes with a perfectly fitting jersey, everything seems a bit easier, if only in the mind.
Matching Socks and Shorts
Along with the Souplesse Jersey II, a pair of cycling shorts and socks were also developed, both crafted with the same high-quality finish you can expect from Rapha.
More information about the jersey, shorts, and socks can be found on Rapha's website.
